Fluid Mechanics is a branch of engineering which deals with the study of fluids (liquid or gas) and its properties, applications and behaviour with its surroundings.
Fluid Mechanics can be divided further into 2 parts.
First one is Fluid Statics, the study of fluid at rest, it means all the forces causing the flow will be ignored.
The second one is Fluid Dynamics, the study of fluid in motion i.e. the forces causing the motion.
